The emphasis
on this Program is to provide students (5 years and up) with the skill and
confidence to skate. This program starts with very basic skating skills and
progresses to the more proficient skills as the student progresses in their
development. Our belief at this level is to encourage Fun, Fitness and Skill
Development in every class so that skating may become a lifetime activity to
enjoy! The Levels of Basic Skating are from Beginner to Level 3.
***If your child is 5 years old or up, this is the program for them regardless of if they have previous skating experience. (If your child is 3 or 4, they should register in Learn to Skate)***
Equipment Requirement: Please be advised that all students are required to wear a C.S.A. approved helmet with face cage before being allowed on the ice. NO ski or bicycle helmets shall be allowed.
